Barry Burrell has an established and exhilarating career in British racing and joins Buildbase Kawasaki in 2010 to contend in the fiercely-competitive Metzeler National Superstock 1000 Championship. Joining the team after a successful five year career with Czech Republic team MS Racing in the European Superstock FIM Cup 1000 series, Barry returns to home ground.
Barry states it’s going to be a hard season "This year the championship is really open; you still have the key teams that are going to be the main challengers but it is going to be close. I don't really think anyone knows who is going to be where until there have been a few rounds and people get into their rhythm. It is a long season though so we will have to wait and see what happens."
The team are working very hard with our technical partners who are providing the expertise for our engine development programme. Barry has completed initial testing in the UK and attended the official Bitubo Suspension test in Cartagena in February.
